Geogenic soil CO2 flux in a restricted extent close to a CO2-rich groundwater well in a tectonically quiescent area

<p>Soil CO₂&nbsp;flux&nbsp;was investigated in a limited extent&nbsp;close to a CO₂-rich groundwater well in a tectonically quiescent area by the accumulation chamber method using both LI-COR 8100A (LI-COR Inc., Lincoln, Nebraska, USA) and EGM-5 portable CO₂&nbsp;gas analyzer (PP Systems, Amesbury, Massachusetts, USA). Performance of the two devices was compared by simultaneously measuring&nbsp;soil CO₂&nbsp;flux&nbsp;at several points of geogenic and biogenic CO₂&nbsp;origin using both instruments.</p>
