(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 1990 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>892</p> <p>Fihrist-i-Sh&acirc;hn&acirc;ma ( فهرست شاهنامه).</p> <p>A curious composition in form of a ḳaṣidah, with the same rhyme in ١ running through the whole book, giving a versified index of the contents of the Sh&acirc;hn&acirc;ma, compiled by Sh&icirc;r&icirc;rn Parand (شيرين پرند) for the sake of a better recollection of the principal incidents in Firdaus&icirc;&rsquo;s masterpiece.</p> <p>It opens with a rub&acirc;&rsquo;i, beginning thus:</p> <p>اين نامه بشاهنامه انداخته است الخ</p> <p>This copy is defective, going down only to the end of Kaikhusrau&rsquo;s reign.</p> <p>Copied A.H. 1166 (A.D. 1753), according to a note on fol. 1^a.</p> <p>No. 1990, ff. 22, 2 coll., each ll. 12; Nasta&rsquo;l&icirc;ḳ, much damaged and many lines almost effaced; size, 8^1/2in. by 4^5/8 in.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
