(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a> <strong>number 1006 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>941</p> <p>A third defective copy of the same.</p> <p>Contents:</p> <p>Ḳaṣîdas etc., without any orders, on fol.1<sup>b</sup>, beginning as usual.</p> <p>Ghazals, arranged alphabetically, beginning, on fol. 134<sup>b</sup>:</p> <p>اى عقل تو پیر و بخت برنا – خارست زمانه و تو خرما</p> <p>Ḳiṭ’as, in alphabetical order, beginning, on fol. 184<sup>a</sup>:</p> <p>زهى صدرى الخ.</p> <p>This part is incomplete at the end; the last ḳiṭ’ah on fol. 192<sup>b</sup>, which breaks off with the second bait, is found in No. 1530, fol. 247<sup>b</sup>, ll. 3 and 2 ab infra.</p> <p>There are besides lacunas after ff. 189 and 191. The Ḳiṭ’ah ربع مسكون الخ, beginning on fol. 189<sup>b</sup>, corresponds to No. 1530, fol. 230<sup>a</sup>, the ḳiṭ’as on fol. 190<sup>a</sup> to ff. 243<sup>b</sup> and 237<sup>b</sup> respectively in the same copy (so that the end of letter ت , the whole letters ج, ح, and خ, and the beginning of the letter د are missing). The last ḳiṭ’ah, on fol. 191<sup>b</sup>, اى خداوندى الخ, is found on fol. 243<sup>a</sup> in No. 1530, the first ḳiṭ’ah, on fol. 192<sup>a</sup>, on fol. 245<sup>b</sup>, l. 5, in the same copy.</p> <p>Small blanks on ff. 69<sup>b</sup> and 73<sup>b</sup>. The proper order of ff. 38-43 is: 38, 40, 39, 42, 41, and 43.</p> <p>Various readings and many additions on the margin.</p> <p>A great number of pages worm-eaten.</p> <p>No. 1006, ff. 192, 2 coll., each ll. 21; Nasta’lîḳ; size, 10 in. by 5½ in.</p> <p> </p>
