(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a> <strong>number 2258 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>940</p> <p>Another more defective copy of the same.</p> <p>Contents:</p> <p>Ḳaṣîdas and tarjî’bands, <em>first collection</em>, in alphabetical order, except the first, on fol. 1<sup>b</sup>: مقدّرى نه الخ.</p> <p>Beginning of the first alphabetical ḳaṣîdah, on fol. 3<sup>a</sup>:</p> <p>سپهر رفعت و كوه وقار و بحر سخا</p> <p>بهار دولت ودين آن جهان قدر وبها</p> <p>Corresponding to fol.8<sup>a</sup> in No. 1530 (936 above).</p> <p>Ḳaṣîdahs etc., <em>second</em> collection, interspersed with ghazals, likewise in alphabetical order, but only beginning in the letter, on fol. 180<sup>a</sup>:</p> <p>اى بهمّت برتر از چرخ اثیر – وزبزرگی دين يزدان را ظهير</p> <p>Corresponding to fol. 78<sup>a</sup>, first line, in No. 1530. This is owing to a lacuna after fol. 179. The last ḳaṣîdah, which begins, on fol. 179<sup>b</sup>, اى برده زشاهان, corresponds to fol. 195<sup>b</sup> in No. 1530, and breaks off with the 13th bait (=No. 1530, fol. 196<sup>a</sup>, l. 10).</p> <p>Ḳiṭ’as, with a few ghazals, concluded by the short satirical mathnawîs, on fol. 237<sup>a</sup>, beginning:</p> <p>اى فلك پیش طالع نيكت – كرده پرواز اختر بدرا</p> <p>Corresponding to the fourth ḳiṭ’ah in No. 1530, fol. 216<sup>a</sup>.</p> <p>Fol. 179 injured.
