Contents: Ḳaṣîdas and tarjî’bands, first collection, in alphabetical order, except the first, on fol. 1b: مقدّرى نه الخ. Beginning of the first alphabetical ḳaṣîdah, on fol. 3a: سپهر رفعت و كوه وقار و بحر سخا بهار دولت ودين آن جهان قدر وبها Corresponding to fol.8a in No. 1530 (936 above). Ḳaṣîdahs etc., second collection, interspersed with ghazals, likewise in alphabetical order, but only beginning in the letter, on fol. 180a: اى بهمّت برتر از چرخ اثیر – وزبزرگی دين يزدان را ظهير Corresponding to fol. 78a, first line, in No. 1530. This is owing to a lacuna after fol. 179. The last ḳaṣîdah, which begins, on fol. 179b, اى برده زشاهان, corresponds to fol. 195b in No. 1530, and breaks off with the 13th bait (=No. 1530, fol. 196a, l. 10). Ḳiṭ’as, with a few ghazals, concluded by the short satirical mathnawîs, on fol. 237a, beginning: اى فلك پیش طالع نيكت – كرده پرواز اختر بدرا Corresponding to the fourth ḳiṭ’ah in No. 1530, fol. 216a. Fol. 179 injured. No date. College of Fort William, 1825. No. 2258, ff. 358, 2 coll., each ll. 15-16; Nasta’lîḳ, by at least four different hands; size, 81/8 in. by 47/8 in.
