He also wrote a commentary on Kh&acirc;ḳ&acirc;n&icirc;&rsquo;s poems, see Nos. 968-970 below. Beginning:سپاس بى قياس مر صانع قديم را كه بامر كن جملۀ مكوّنات را از نهان خانۀ كتم عدم در صحراء وجود آورد الخ.</p> <p>The first verse, explained, on fol. 2<sup>a</sup>, is the initial bait usually found in copies of Anwar&icirc;&rsquo;s ḳaṣ&icirc;das: مقدّرى نه الخ.</p> <p>Dated the 24th of Muḥarram, A.H. 1056 (A.D. 1646, March 12), by Am&icirc;nkh&acirc;n ibn Shaikh &lsquo;Abdall&acirc;h of Sh&acirc;hp&ucirc;r.</p> <p>No. 1126, ff. 1-88, ll. 16-19; Nasta&rsquo;l&icirc;ḳ, mixed with Shikasta; size, 9&frac12; in. by 5&frac12; in.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
