Catalogue of X-ray photon fluence spectra of electronic brachytherapy device INTRABEAM manufactured by ZEISS

The catalogue was compiled from suitable data available in literature and from the data measured or created by the project "18NRM02 PRISM-eBT" (Primary standards and traceable measurement methods for X-ray emitting electronic brachytherapy devices; http://www.ebt-empir.eu/) of the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR).

The main goal of the catalogue was to develop a set of harmonised reference X-ray qualities denoted as “eBT equivalent” that would be established for in-laboratory activities by the X-ray tubes usually available for calibration in calibration laboratories, but the tube voltage and the filter are specifically selected to simulate the energy spectrum of the corresponding eBT radiation as closely as possible at the reference point.

The catalogue contains the following spectra:

1) X-ray spectra in 1 cm water depth obtained using full Monte Carlo simulation of the eBT device. One spectrum for bare needle and one spectrum with 4 cm applicator.
2) eBT-equivalent spectra in 1 cm water depth realized at Czech Metrology Insitute.
3) X-ray spectra in 1 cm water depth obtained from Monte Carlo calculation using spectra at device surface (0 cm air thickness) calculated from measured spectra presented in another sheets.
4) eBT-equivalent spectra in 1 cm water depth calculated from 3) with SpekPy software."
5) Measured spectra in air at 15 cm distance, bare and two applicators.
6) X-ray spectra at device surface (0 cm air thickness) that were analytically recalculated from 5).
7) Measured spectra in air at 70 cm distance, bare, for various angles.
8) X-ray spectrum at device surface (0 cm air thickness) for 0° that was analytically recalculated from 7).
9) Measured spectra in air at 70 cm distance, 3.5 cm applicator, for various angles.
10) X-ray spectrum at device surface (0 cm air thickness) for 0° that was analytically recalculated from 9).
