(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a> <strong>number 2684 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>1034</p> <p>Six mathnawîs by Farîd-aldîn ‘Aṭṭâr.</p> <p>This splendid old copy, written by Muḥammad Ḥâjî bin Bâbâ Ḥâjî between A.H. 807 and 812 (A.D. 1405-1410), contains:</p> <p>1.Ushturnâma or Shuturnâma (شترنامه), on fol. 1<sup>b</sup>.</p> <p>2.Asrârnâma, on fol. 116<sup>b</sup>. This part is dated the 20th of Rajab, A.H. 807 (A.D. 1405, January 22).</p> <p>3<sup>a</sup>.Ilâhînâma, on fol. 196<sup>b</sup>, beginning here:</p> <p>بنام كردگار هفت افلاك</p> <p>كه پيدا كرد آدم از كفى خاك</p> <p>Dated the 20th of Ramaḍân, A.H. 807 (A.D. 1405, March 22).</p> <p>4.Bulbulnâma, on fol. 279<sup>b</sup>, beginning (without the usual ḥamd):</p> <p>همه مرگان بدرگاه سليمان</p> <p>شدند و داشتند از بلبل افغان</p> <p>3<sup>b</sup>.Khuṭba-i-Ilâhînâma (خطبۀ الهى نامه), the usual introduction to the Ilâhînâma, left out in 3<sup>a</sup>, on fol.283<sup>b</sup>, beginning (with a slight modification in the second hemistich, see Rieu ii. p. 576<sup>a</sup>):</p> <p>الهى نامه را آغاز كردم – در گنج سعادت باز كردم</p> <p>5.Muṣibatnâma, on fol. 289<sup>b</sup>.</p> <p>6.Waṣlatnâma, on fol. 386<sup>b</sup>. This part is dated the first of Dhû-alḳa’dah, A.H. 812 (A.D. 1410, March 7).</p> <p>This MS. appears to be the first part or first volume only of a complete collection or كلّيّات of Farîd-aldîn ‘Aṭṭâr’s works, as the index on ff. 1<sup>a</sup> and 1<sup>b</sup> (margin-column) indicates. A more detailed, although not complete, index of the contents of this MS. is found on one of the fly-leaves.
