Widespread flood severity index time series for Germany

<p>The dataset provides time series from 1951 to 2013 of monthly flood severity index and mean monthly precipitation&nbsp;derived for Germany (DE) and its three hydroclimatic regions (NW: North-Western region; NE: North-Eastern region;&nbsp;South: Southern region). The dataset also provides most frequent event type recorded in Germany for each months.&nbsp;</p> <p>The dataset was used to train and test a dilated Convolutional Neural Network for forecasting monthly flood severity in Germany (Tarasova et al., submitted to Earth&#39;s Future).&nbsp;</p>
