Does International Students' Self-Construal Set Them At Risk for Depression? Exploring Relationships Between Self-construal, Self-criticism, Self-compassion and Depressive Symptoms

<p>These two SPSS documents were raw data of our two exploratory correlational studies.&nbsp;<strong>Both studies</strong> <strong>did not collect any identifiable data</strong>.&nbsp;In Study 1, 104 Chinese and 131 German students in universities&nbsp;in the Netherlands filled in an online questionnaire in their mother tongues in February 2022. The questionnaire measured demographics, self-construal, self-criticism, self-compassion, depressive symptoms, and an open-ended questions.&nbsp;In Study 2, 240 Chinese and 191 German students in universities in the Netherlands filled in an online questionnaire in their mother tongues in June 2022. The questionnaire replicated Study 1, and additionally measured relational mobility and perceived social support.&nbsp;</p>
