Three dimensional reconstruction of an existing age-old wooden shingle roof

<p>This dataset provides a complete and thorough three-dimensional reconstruction of an age-old shingled roof located in&nbsp;Rossini&egrave;re, Switzerland (<a href="https://www.google.com/maps/dir//46.468247,7.059739/@46.4670828,7.012801,12z/data=!4m2!4m1!3e0">46.46837286488975, 7.059749511857417</a>), which provides reliable documentation to archive this valuable type of architecture.</p> <p>This dataset was obtained using a 3D Farco Focus scanner and the point clouds were processed using FaroScene software.</p> <p>This research was funded by&nbsp;the National Centres of Competence in Research (<a href="https://www.snf.ch/en/FJBJ8XGQ1tjG8J8w/funding/programmes/national-centres-of-competence-in-research-nccr">NCCRs</a>) and EPFL.</p>
