Neuronal and neuron-astrocyte co-culture MEA recordings.

A dataset consisting of various standard 60-electrode MEA recordings. The recorded cultures are:

'NS' - E18 primary rat cortical neurons (A1084001, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA));

'8020' - 80 % E18 primary rat cortical neurons (A1084001, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA)) + 20 % rat cortical astrocytes (N7745100, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA,USA);

'5050' - 50 % E18 primary rat cortical neurons (A1084001, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA)) + 50 % rat cortical astrocytes (N7745100, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA,USA);

The MEAs were recorded at 14, 19, and 28 DIV. The recordings lasted 5 minutes after 5 minutes of settling on the preamplifier.

The file name format is: div*XX*-*meaID*-*cultureType*-5min.csv

where:

*XX* is the recorded day in vitro

*meaID* is the ID of the MEA in order to be able to follow the same MEA during the development

*cultureType* is either NS, 8020 or 5050 so the user knows which coculture was plated on the recorded MEA

For all the other plating details please refer to: Preprint version 10.36227/techrxiv.22692313.v1
