Data on the Nordic-Baltic pine wood nematode surveys

<p>These files contain the data needed for assessing the confidence in pest freedom gained in&nbsp;the Estonian, Finnish, Lithuanian, Norwegian and Swedish&nbsp;pine wood nematode (PWN) surveys&nbsp;using the NoBaSURV-PWN application (https://nobasurv-pwn.rahtiapp.fi/).</p> <p>The data covers PWN surveys from the following years:</p> <ul> <li>Estonia, 2002&ndash;2021</li> <li>Finland, 2000&ndash;2021</li> <li>Lithuania, 2015&ndash;2021</li> <li>Norway, 2000&ndash;2019</li> <li>Sweden, 2013&ndash;2021</li> </ul> <p>In all the files, the first row has the names of the regions included and the first column has the years considered, and the data in the table is arranged accordingly.</p> <p>Details about the surveys and the data files will be provided in the final report of the project&nbsp;the project&nbsp;<a href="https://www.ruokavirasto.fi/en/organisations/risk-assessment/projects-of-risk-assessment/plant-health/nordic-baltic-alueen-mantyankeroiskartoitusten-tilastollinen-luotettavuus/">&ldquo;Assessing the confidence in pest freedom gained in the past pine wood nematode surveys&rdquo;</a>&nbsp;funded by the European Food Safety Authority (GP/EFSA/ENCO/2020/03 - Partnering grants). The aim of the project is to build capacity for assessing the probability of pest freedom gained in past PWN surveys. The project is a co-operation between the Finnish Food Authority, the Estonian Agriculture and Food Board, the Lithuanian State Plant Service under the Ministry of Agriculture, the Norwegian Scientific Committee for Food and Environment and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.</p>
