Bisut&ucirc;n&rsquo;s (or <em>Ibn</em> Bisut&ucirc;n&rsquo;s) preface, beginning as usual, on fol. 1^b; but already on the margin of the next page, fol. 2^a, the copyist has suddenly jumped from this preface into the middle of the <em>first ris&acirc;lah</em>, در تقرير ديباچه ; ll. 8 and 9 belong likewise to the preface; but the words in l. 14, كه دل شخص انسان بود الخ, are part of the first ris&acirc;lah, corresponding to No. 1121 in this Cat., fol. 3^a margin, l. 13. A second jump from the middle of the <em>first ris&acirc;lah</em> into that of the <em>second</em> (the five مجلس) is made on fol. 5^a margin; I. 2 also belongs to the <em>first ris&acirc;lah</em>, corresponding to No. 1121, fol. 5^a margin, lin. Penult.; l. 3 already forms part of the first majlis of the <em>second ris&acirc;lah</em>, corresponding to No. 1121, fol. 6^b, l. 9. The second majlis begins on fol. 6^a, the third on fol. 8^b margin, the fourth on fol. 10^a margin, the fifth on fol. 13^a; the <em>third ris&acirc;lah</em>, on fol. 18^b margin; the <em>fourth</em>, on fol. 20^a; the <em>fifth</em>, on fol. 21^b; the <em>sixth</em>, comprising the <em>first</em> <em>story </em>only (نصيحت حضرت شيخ سلطان اباقا), on fol. 31^a; the <em>seventh</em>, comprising the <em>third story</em> of the usual sixth ris&acirc;lah, حكايت ملك شمس الدين, on fol. 32^a; towards the end of this story the copy breaks off, the last words corresponding to No. 1126 in this Cat., fol. 82^b, l. 6.</p> <p>No. 1725, ff. 32, centre-col., ll. 12; margin-col., ll. 26; small Nasta&rsquo;l&icirc;ḳ; illuminated frontispiece; the first two pages splendidly adorned; small illuminations throughout; a picture on fol. 18^a size, 9^1/8 in. by 5^1/2 in.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
