Sprenger, Catal., p. 550, beginning, on fol. 24<sup>b</sup>: منّت مر خدايرا عزّو جلّ كه زبان گویا را پيشكار دل دانا ساخت الخ.</p> <p>The author’s name appears on fol. 25<sup>a</sup>, l.8. It is the same Nûr-allâh Aḥrârî who wrote a commentary on the mathnawî (see No. 1104 in this Cat.).</p> <p>This copy is incomplete, one leaf seems to be missing at the end; it breaks off in the eighth chapter (which begins on fol. 96<sup>a</sup>); the last words of the text are:پادشاه از بهر ستمگار است...
