(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 1605 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>1183</p> <p>Farḥang-i-Gulist&acirc;n (فرهنگ گلستان).</p> <p>Another small glossary of the Gulist&acirc;n, with the same title, chiefly explaining Arabic words by an interlinear Persian paraphrase; it is divided into two portions, the first of which is arranged alphabetically according to the <em>last</em> letter, viz. لغات مفردات بترتيب حروف, on fol. 1^a, beginning with رضا(=خشنودى); the second is headed لغات متفرّقه, on fol. 18^b, beginning with اتابت(=توبه).</p> <p>No compiler&rsquo;s name appears. Dated, as it seems, the 9th of Ṣafar (? The word is entirely misspelt here), in the first year of Aḥmadsh&acirc;h&rsquo;s reign (=A.H. 1162, A.D. 1749, Jan. 29). A seal, however, of the first owner, Ghul&acirc;m Muḥy&icirc;-ald&icirc;n Raf&icirc;, bear the earlier date A.H. 1155 (A.D. 1742, 1743), on fol. 18^b, another of the same is found at the end of the copy.</p> <p>No. 1605, ff. 21; careless Nasta&rsquo;l&icirc;ḳ; size, 7&frac14; in. by 4&frac34; in.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
