FIGURE 7. Bayesian inference tree of the mitochondrial 16S rRNA constructed with MrBayes based on 570 basepairs. The tree comprises 100 individuals of all species assigned to the Lygodactylus verticillatus group. Non-relevant clades were collapsed into triangles with the number of taxa written on it. The Lygodactylus tolampyae sensu lato clade is currently under taxonomic revision and comprises the taxa Lygodactylus tolampyae sensu stricto, Lygodactylus sp. 14 aff. tolampyae A, Lygodactylus sp. 15 aff. tolampyae B, Lygodactylus sp. 25 aff. tolampyae C, Lygodactylus sp. 27 aff. tolampyae D and Lygodactylus sp. 28 aff. tolampyae E. Branches are labelled with bootstrap percentages (BP) and Bayesian posterior probabilities (PP; BP | PP). Branch supports are missing where the tree topologies of BI and ML analyses are incongruent.
