Aumer, p. 28; Bland, Century of Persian Ghazals, No. 6; etc.</p> <p>Contents:</p> <p>Daulatsh&acirc;h&rsquo;s account of Ḳ&acirc;sim&rsquo;s life and works (ذكر سيّد قاسم انوار), on fol. 1<sup>b</sup>, beginning: درّ درياى حقيقت الخ. Daulatsh&acirc;h is the only biographer who, with his usual inaccuracy, fixes the poet&rsquo;s death in A.H. 835 (A.D. 1431, 1432).</p> <p>Ghazals, in alphabetical order, except the first two, on fol. 9<sup>b</sup>. Beginning of the initial ghazal:</p> <p>من بيچارۀ سودازده سرگردانم</p> <p>که باوصاف خداوند سخن چون رانم</p> <p>Beginning of the first alphabetical ghazal, on fol. 10<sup>b</sup>:</p> <p>اى صبح سعادت ز جبين تو هويدا</p> <p>اين حسن چه حسنست تبارک تعالی</p> <p>Tarj&icirc;&rsquo;bands, ḳiṭ&rsquo;as, short mathnaw&icirc;s, and rub&acirc;&rsquo;&icirc;s, on fol. 209<sup>a</sup>, beginning:</p> <p>بيا اى عشق عالمسوز بى غم</p> <p>قدم بر چشم من نه خیر مقدم</p> <p>(see No. 863 in the Bodleian Cat.).</p> <p>This copy is dated the 4th of Jum&acirc;d&acirc;-alth&acirc;n&icirc;, A.H. 1028 (A.D. 1619, May 19), by &lsquo;Abd-allaṭ&icirc;f al-&rsquo;Abb&acirc;s&icirc; (the learned editor and commentator of San&acirc;&rsquo;i&rsquo;s Ḥad&icirc;ḳah and Jal&acirc;l-ald&icirc;n R&ucirc;m&icirc;&rsquo;s mathnaw&icirc;, see above, Nos. 923, 924, 1088-1091, 1101, 1102), who wrote it for Mirz&acirc; Muḥammad Ashraf.</p> <p>No. 495, ff. 227, 2 coll., each ll. 11; Nasta&rsquo;l&icirc;ḳ; two small pictures, the first rather effaced, on ff. 18<sup>b</sup> and 39<sup>a</sup>; blanks on ff. 140<sup>b</sup> and 200<sup>a</sup>; size, 6<sup>3/8 </sup>in. by 3<sup>1/2</sup> in.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
