A test of microclimatic facilitation and shrub canopy volume across the Californian aridity gradient.

<p>In this study, we examined microclimatic parameters, including near-surface air temperature (NSAT), near-surface relative humidity (NSRH), and surface ground temperature (SGT) using a handheld device across seven site in California to test the hypothesis that foundation shrub canopies can provide microclimatic amelioration in dryland ecosystems.</p>
