(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 3359 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>1302</p> <p>A defective copy of the same.</p> <p>This copy of J&acirc;m&icirc;&rsquo;s <em>first</em> d&icirc;w&acirc;n, in two parts, like the one in No. 1300, but with this peculiar arrangement, that the second part (the ghazals, muḳaṭṭa&rsquo;&acirc;t, and rub&acirc;&rsquo;&icirc;s) precedes the first.</p> <p>Contents:</p> <p>Ghazals, in alphabetical order, defective at the beginning; the copy opens abruptly with this final bait: آن سرو سهی قدرا شد خاک قدم جامی الخ , corresponding to fol. 64<sup>b</sup>, lin. penult., in the preceding copy. Between ff. 221 and 222 seven blank leaves are inserted, but as a comparison with the preceding copy shows, there is <em>no</em> lacuna. At the end the musammaṭ: الا ای ماه الخ.</p> <p>Muḳaṭṭa&rsquo;&acirc;t, on fol. 232<sup>b</sup>, beginning:دلا منشين الخ.</p> <p>Rub&acirc;&rsquo;&icirc;s, on fol. 237<sup>a</sup>, beginning:سبحانك لا علم الخ.</p> <p>The usual prose-preface of the first d&icirc;w&acirc;n, on fol. 249<sup>b</sup>, beginning:</p> <p>بسم الله الرّحمن الرّحيم &ndash; هست صلاى الخ</p> <p>Ḳaṣ&icirc;das, tarj&icirc;&rsquo;&acirc;t, mar&acirc;th&icirc;, short mathnaw&icirc;s, etc., on fol. 253<sup>a</sup>, beginning:زان پیش الخ.</p> <p>No date.
