<p>The data were used in the paper &quot;Effects of submerged flexible vegetation on scalar transport in an open-channel flow&quot; which was submitted to &quot;Water Resources Research&quot;.In this paper,&nbsp;a 3D numerical model simulating scalar transfer in water flow with flexible submerged vegetation is&nbsp;established. The effects of vegetation on enhancing&nbsp;the scalar transfer and the selection of turbulent&nbsp;Schmidt number are investigated by numerical simulations.</p>
