In B, the proteolytic activity was assayed at pH 7.0. In (C), the assays were performed using different concentrations of BApNA at pH 7.0, 35 ̊C, and 100 μg of each peptidase. Km and Vmax were determined from a nonlinear curve fit of the untransformed data using GraphPad Prism 7. The numbers used to define the kinetic parameters were best-fit estimate ± SE.
