Bodleian Cat., No. 1063; Rieu ii. p. 672; A. Sprenger, Catal., pp. 42 (No. 587) and 552, 553; see also Haft Iḳl&icirc;m, No. 1171 (col. 467 in this Cat.); Khul&acirc;ṣat-alafk&acirc;r, No. 130 (col. 307 in the Bodleian Cat.), and W. Pertsch, Berlin Cat., pp. 925 and 926 (where, by a mistake, the patron of the poet is called Sh&acirc;h &lsquo;Abb&acirc;s II, instead of &lsquo;Abb&acirc;s I or the Great).</p> <p>In A. Sprenger, loc. cit., the collection of Saḥ&acirc;b&icirc;&rsquo;s rub&acirc;&rsquo;&icirc;s is styled حقائق معنوى .</p> <p>The quatrains are arranged alphabetically, and begin:</p> <p>معنى فعل است هر بد و نيكورا</p> <p>در پردۀ قول کرده پنهان اورا</p> <p>The initial rub&acirc;&rsquo;&icirc; of Sprenger&rsquo;s and Rieu&rsquo;s copies is not found in this selection.
