FT-IR spectra of water in quartz

<p>We performed a set of high-pressure and high-temperature deformation experiments in a Griggs-type apparatus on a quartzite, for variable conditions of pressure and strain. We measured the FT-IR spectra of quartz grain interiors and grain boundaries, as a function of deformation conditions.</p>
