Monument to Francesco Giuseppe Gardini and Carlo Bertero in Alba (Italy). Giuseppe Gardini was a doctor, a philosopher, a phisicist and a teacher who lived in Piedmont in the 18th century. He has been one of the first in Piedmont who promoted smallpox vaccine.
