Wmid-038612 - Post Medieval curtain ring

A complete copper alloy ring or loop which functioned as a curtain fitting, of the Post Medieval period, dating from c. AD 1400 - c. AD 1600 It is broadly circular in shape with a rectangular cross section with bevelled edges. In profile the loop is flat. It measures 25.4 mm external diameter, 17.4 mm internal diameter and 3.0 mm thick. The ring is 3.3 mm wide. It weighs 3.3 grams.
