Forged by J.J.Ducel Maître de forges, Paris https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean-Jacques_Ducel Location: https://goo.gl/maps/cp7tAbp7mrng9ncq8 Paris, Circa 1870 Jean-Jaques Ducel (1801-1877) was a Marseille born sculptor and ironmaster who co-founded the foundry, J.J Ducel Master of Forges, Paris. He purchased the Pocé-sur-Cisse estate iron foundry in 1829 and it became one of the largest art foundries in France until Ducel's death. In 1878 the foundry home was purchased by Val d'Osne who carried on selling Ducel's patterns.
