Lead Cloth Seal, United East India Company, 1805

![](https://bit.ly/3m6P8if) A lead cloth seal, used to mark rolls of textiles. This seal has the mark of the United East India Company (VEIC). The reverse features a cross, probabaly featuring the arms of Tudor England in the upper left quadrant, though this example is highly degraded.
