Ballinsloe Well Low

A circular well discovered during an archaeological excavation on Society Street in Ballinasloe in July 2020. Constructed from coursed limestone (C825), it was impacted on its southern side by a later drystone wall (C827). A section of a revetting wall (C824) abutted the N side of the well.The feature was preserved in situ following consultation with the relevant authorities. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
