Monthly depth to groundwater from wells in the shallow aquifer of the Rio Grande flood plain (Bosque) in New Mexico, USA: 1997-2020
Bosque Ecosystem Monitoring Program(BEMP). BEMP is a partnership between Bosque School, Sevilleta Long Term Ecological Research Station, and the University of New Mexico. Five wells at each BEMP site (33 in total) are used to measure depth to groundwater, which plays a critical role in cottonwood and other vegetation health and are also important to understanding water cycle and evapotranspiration dynamics.
