Negative thoughts and glucose levels reduction after introspective writing task in the short term in people with/without T2DM

The aim of this study was to analyze the association between measured and induced negative thoughts (NTs) and blood glucose levels when performing introspective writing. The automatic negative thoughts questionnaire (ATQ-N) was applied and subsequently performed a writing task with the theme of feelings of guilt randomized. Sociodemographic and clinical information was obtained. Fasting glucose was measured before and after 20 minutes of writing, at the end, peripherical blood and saliva samples were taken to measure glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) and cortisol.

CREATIVE METHODS OF WRITING ACADEMIC ESSAYS

For learning how to write creative essays, first of all, it should be learnt what “ creative” means. Creative thinking or making things up in creative way could involve using your imagination. Essays are about being factual and objective, communicating the ideas and arguments as clearly as possible, and trying to increase the reader’s knowledge rather than their imagination. But while literary explanations and colorful phrases that we always write are not suitable in essays ,these different kinds of writing share common sides. Essays can quickly attract the attention of the reader and the topicality of the topic expressed in it is one of its characteristics. It is in this respect that it differs from writings written in an literary way.

RK18 A00216 Pewter writing box

RK17 A00216 is a pewter writing box found during the archaeological excavation of the Rooswijk in 2018. In 2017 and 2018, the shipwreck of the Rooswijk, a 300 year old Dutch East India Company (VOC) ship which sank on the treacherous Goodwin Sands in January 1740 off the coast of England, was excavated by an international team of maritime archaeologists. Post-excavation work began straight after each excavation campaign, focusing on ex-situ research, the conservation and analysis of the artefacts and will continue until the end of the project. The #Rooswijk1740 project is funded and led by the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (Ministry of Education, Science and Culture), in collaboration with project partner Historic England and UK-contractor MSDS Marine. RK18 A00219 Pewter Writing Box

RK18 A00219 is believed to be a pewter box that would have held an inkwell and associated writing impliments. The artefact was found during the archaeological excavation of the Rooswijk in 2018. The box is in remarkable condition and potentially still contains the glass inkwell under the hinged lid on the top. In 2016, Dutch and British archaeologists undertook a survey on the site of the Dutch East Indiaman Rooswijk which showed it was at high risk. To address this, a team has come together from Historic England and the Dutch Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) to undertake an archaeological excavation in summer 2017 and 2018. Follow this project on social media @Rooswijk1740 You can read the press release about the project here: https://culturalheritageagency.nl/en/news/dutch-and-british-archaeologists-to-excavate-300-year-old-shipwreck-before-it-is-destroyed-by-t Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
