<p><span>Redescriptions based on type material by the late Kristian Fauchald are provided for eight species of Polynoidae (Annelida, Aphroditiformia): <em>Admetella longipedata</em> McIntosh, 1885; <em>Bathybahamas charleneae</em> Pettibone, 1985; <em>Bathyeliasona nigra</em> (Hartman, 1967); <em>Eunoe abyssorum</em> McIntosh, 1885; <em>Eunoe leiotentaculata</em> Averincev, 1978; <em>Harmothoe paxtoni</em> Averincev, 1978; <em>Kermadecella magnipalpa</em> (McIntosh, 1885); and <em>Parapolyeunoa flynni</em> (Benham, 1921) (as <em>Polyeunoa monroi</em> Averincev, 1978).</span></p>
