DAWN GRAND CALIBRATED MARS FLYBY COUNTS V1.0

The GRaND RDR are a time-ordered collection of corrected gamma ray and neutron counting data and calibrated pulse height spectra acquired by GRaND during all phases of the Dawn mission. This data set is specific to Mars Gravity Assist (MGA), and includes data acquired during Mars approach and flyby. The RDR is a calibrated data set derived from the Experiment Data Records (EDR), consisting of time-series counting rates from which elemental abundances can be determined. Ancillary ephemeris and pointing data needed for analysis and mapping of the time series data are included in the data set.

DAWN FC2 DERIVED VESTA DTM SPG V1.0

Abstract ======== This data set contains the Vesta digital terrain model based on the Dawn High Altitude Mapping orbit (HAMO) Framing Camera 2 (FC2) images and derived by using the stereo photo-grammetric (SPG) method. The HAMO DTM covers approximately 95% of the Vesta surface (few permanently shadowed areas near the poles required interpolation). The a DTM has a lateral spacing of ~70 m/pixel (64.0 pixel/degree) and a vertical accuracy of +/-6 m.

DAWN GRAND MAP CERES IRON 7.6MEV GAMMA COUNTS V1.0

A global map of gamma ray counting rates binned on twenty-degree quasi-equal-area pixels is provided. The map was determined from a time series of net counting rates for the 7.6 MeV gamma ray peak produced by neutron capture with Fe within Ceres' regolith. The data were acquired by Dawn's Gamma Ray and Neutron Detector (GRaND) while in low altitude mapping orbit, about 385 km from Ceres' surface (about 0.8 body radii altitude). Prior to mapping, the time series counting data were subjected to corrections for variations in the flux of galactic cosmic rays and measurement geometry, as described by PRETTYMANETAL2017.

DAWN GRAND MAP VESTA FAST NEUTRON RESIDUAL V1.0

These data are maps of fast neutron residual count rates from the GRaND plus Z boron loaded sensor. The nominal fast neutron count rates were detrended using the GRaND epithermal neutron map to produced this residual map. The residual map is related to the average atomic mass on Vesta. Details of the map and data reduction are described in LAWRENCEETAL2013.

DAWN FC2 DERIVED CERES MOSAICS V1.0

Abstract ======== This accumulating data set includes Ceres global mosaics and quadrangles derived from images acquired by the Framing Camera 2 (FC2) on the NASA Dawn spacecraft. Global mosaics are provided in cylindrical and polar stereographic projections. The quadrangle mosaics use Mercator (equatorial), Lambert conformal (mid-latitude) and stereographic projections. Clear and color mosaics are provided for high altitude mapping orbit (HAMO) and clear filter mosaics only in the low altitude mapping orbit (LAMO) science phases. This data set spans three PDS archive volumes which were created at different times during the mission. Volume DWNCHCFC2_2 contains HAMO clear filter mosaics, DWNCHFFC2_2 contains HAMO color filter mosaics, and DWNCLCFC2_2 contains LAMO clear mosaics.

DAWN GRAND MAP CERES SMOOTHED HYDROGEN MAP V1.0

A smoothed, global map of the concentration of hydrogen within the regolith of asteroid 1 Ceres on two-degree equal-angle pixels is provided. Hydrogen concentrations were determined from thermal+epithermal neutron counting data acquired by the NASA Dawn mission's Gamma Ray and Neutron Detector (GRaND) while in low altitude mapping orbit, about 385 km from Ceres' surface (about 0.8 body radii altitude). The concentrations are representative of Ceres's bulk regolith to depths up to a few decimeters with a spatial resolution of about 600-km full-width-at-half-maximum of arc length on the surface. The methods used to determine hydrogen concentration are described by PRETTYMANETAL2017.

DAWN FC1 CALIBRATION IMAGES V1.0

Abstract ======== Framing Camera 1 is one of two identical units flying on Dawn spacecraft. This dataset includes the image files to be used in the calibration of the raw data throughout the mission. These files represent the behaviour of each individual pixel with respect to dark current generation and pixel-to-pixel non-uniformity as a function of the filter. As these are elaborated image products, not obtained from a specific image acquisition, they do not have any ancillary data.
