<p>The dataset is the vegetation type map for India as per <a href="https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0303243415000574?via%3Dihub">Roy et 2015 "<span>New vegetation type map of India prepared using satellite remote sensing: Comparison with global vegetation maps and utilities". </span></a></p> <p><span>The dataset consistes of two files- (1) a raster GIS file at 60m spatial resolution (EPSG 32643 WGS 84/ UTM Zone 34) in which each pixel value means a vegetation class as defined and mapped in Roy et al., 2015 and (2) a csv file which contains information matching the pixel value with the vegetation type. <br><br>For all additional information, please refer to the pper reviewed publication. </span></p>

Data for: Facile Preparation of Tunable Polyborosiloxane Networks via Hydrosilylation
<p>Polyborosiloxanes are used in a variety of fields due to their unique and useful dynamic properties. Traditionally, crosslinked polyborosiloxanes are prepared by incorporating boric acid into siloxane pre-polymers, a process that is time consuming, energy intensive, and challenging due to the immiscibility of the reagents. Here, we report a versatile synthetic method to rapidly cure polyborosiloxane networks via hydrosilylation of chain-end or backbone functionalized polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) derivatives with an inexpensive trivinylboronate. Networks synthesized from these readily available building blocks cure in ~2 minutes at convenient temperatures (<em>e.g.</em>, 90 °C) and exhibit enhanced viscoelastic behavior when compared to traditional polyborosiloxane networks fabricated via the conventional condensation route. By virtue of using efficient hydrosilylation chemistry, another key advantage of this synthetic platform is the ability to synthesize dynamic polyborosiloxanes with different network connectivity by simply using silicones with Si–H moieties placed at the chain ends (telechelic) or distributed throughout the repeat-unit structure (copolymers). The availability of other alkenes amenable to hydrosilylation provides an additional formulation handle to synthesize mixed dynamic–static networks with tunable control over stress relaxation and solvent resistance. In summary, the synthetic approach disclosed herein is a simple and accessible platform for preparing dynamic polyborosiloxanes with tunable material properties.</p>

Dephosphorylating HTT from Sf9 cell production could alter its global structure sufficiently to allow high resolution structure determination by cryoEM. </p>

[OBSOLETE] OCTOPUS Database v.2.2: The CRN Denudation UOW (in preparation) collection [2024]
<p><strong>Database of unpublished cosmogenic Be-10 and Al-26 concentrations from modern river sediment and basin-averaged denudation rates inferred from these data.</strong> Ancillary spatial data includes: sample site location (point), basin outline (polygon), digital elevation model (raster), D8 flow direction and flow accumulation grids (raster), topographic gradient (raster), atmospheric pressure (raster), and cosmogenic nuclide production scaling factor and topographic shielding grids (raster). The vector spatial data uses the WGS84/Pseudo-Mercator (EPSG: 3857) projected coordinate reference system. The raster data uses the WGS86/UTM projected coordinate reference system, UTM zones depending on the extent and location of each data package. Sample metadata is comprehensive and includes all necessary information and input files for the recalculation of denudation rates using the CAIRN model (https://github.com/LSDtopotools/LSDTopoTools_CRNBasinwide). All denudation rates were recalculated and harmonised using CAIRN. The extent of the data covers Australia.</p>

Preparation techniques of thin cyanoacrylate adhesive films for interface analysis
<p>For understanding the interactions between adhesives and different surfaces, the in-situ characterization of the interface is essential. Especially for highly reactive cyanoacrylates, better known as instant adhesives, the adhesion mechanism is poorly understood because, among other things, the characterization of the interface is difficult. The objective of this work is to evaluate the methods of thermal evaporating and spin coating to produce nm-thin, homogeneous films of cyanoacrylate. The aim is to enable spectroscopic analysis of the interface in the future.</p>

Transesterification of palm oil in basic media using methanol is also a known path to monoalkyl methyl ethers derived of fatty acids. In this work we report the Fischer esterification using methanol of a sample of local palm oil sludge (a fraction rich in fatty acids) and how during the extraction with ethyl acetate a transesterification reaction occurred, allowing the preparation of ethyl esters of oleic and palmitic acids as main compounds.</p> <p> </p>
