Shape files for the distribution of the apoda–minor–raggiana clade (i.e. P. apoda, P. minor and P. raggiana) were obtained from the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species (BirdLife International, 2016, 2018a, b). Individuals no. 113–115 were originally determined as P. apoda. However, a re-examination revealed that while it is difficult to correctly assign these subadult individuals, their overall body size is indicative of P. raggiana. Also note that other individuals mentioned in the text (no. 49, 90, 131 and 154) were sampled outside the known native range of the respective species.
