Data-driven capacity estimation of commercial lithium-ion batteries from voltage relaxation
<p>Here are the datasets for the publication named "Data-driven capacity estimation of commercial lithium-ion batteries from voltage relaxation" published in Nature Communications. Experimental cycling data for three commercial 18650 type batteries (Dataset_1:NCA battery, Dataset_2:NCM battery, and Dataset_3:NCM+NCA_battery) are given, where each csv file corresponds to one cell cycling data. The cells are named as CY<em>X-Y_Z</em>-#<em>N</em> according to their cycling conditions. <em>X</em> means the temperature, <em>Y_Z</em> represents the charge_discharge current rate, #<em>N</em> is the cell tag. Each csv file has 9 columns, including cycle time ('time/s'), controlled voltage and current ('control/V/mA'), battery voltage ('Ecell/V'), applied current ('<I>/mA'), charge or discharge electricity ('Q discharge/mA.h' and 'Q discharge/mA.h'), controlled voltage or current ('control/V', 'control/mA' and ), and cycle number ('cycle number'). In the impedance data, one representative cell from each cycling condition is chosen for the discussion in the main text. More detailed descriptions can be found in the zip file.</p>

Tyrosine phosphorylation tunes chemical and thermal sensitivity of TRPV2 ion channel
<p><span>Transient receptor potential vanilloid 2 (TRPV2) is a multimodal ion channel implicated in diverse physiopathological processes.</span><span> Its important involvement in immune responses has been suggested such as in the macrophages' phagocytosis process. However, the endogenous signaling cascades controlling the gating of TRPV2 remain to be understood. Here, we report that enhancing tyrosine phosphorylation remarkably alters the chemical and thermal sensitivities of TRPV2 endogenously expressed in</span><span> rat bone marrow-derived macrophages. We identify that the </span><span>protein tyrosine kinase </span><span>JAK1 mediates TRPV2 phosphorylation at the molecular sites Tyr(335), Tyr(471), and Tyr(525). JAK1 phosphorylation is required for maintaining TRPV2 activity and the phagocytic ability of macrophages. We further show that TRPV2 phosphorylation is dynamically balanced by protein tyrosine phosphatase</span><span> non-receptor type 1 (</span><span>PTPN1). PTPN1 inhibition increases TRPV2 phosphorylation, further reducing the activation temperature threshold. Our data thus unveil an intrinsic mechanism where the phosphorylation/dephosphorylation dynamic balance sets the basal chemical and thermal sensitivity of TRPV2. Targeting this pathway will aid therapeutic interventions in physiopathological contexts.</span></p>

Oxidation of L-leucine amino acid initiated by HO● radical - Are transition metal ions an enhancement factor?
<p class="MsoNormal"><span><span>Hydroxyl radical (HO●) formation initiated by the Fenton-type reactions of Fe and Cu complexes of L-leucine (Leu) amino acid, as well as its oxidation reaction by HO● were computationally investigated by using the density functional theory (DFT) method at the M05-2X/6-311++G(3df,2pd)//M05-2X/6-311++G(d,p) level of theory in the aqueous phase. The results showed that dipole-salt is the main form of Leu in the physiological condition. Leu exhibits high chelating potential towards both Fe(III)/Fe(II) and Cu(II)/Cu(I) ions with the most favorable coordinating positions at two oxygen atoms of the –COO functional groups. Furthermore, the Leu-ions complexes show a high risk of HO● formation <em><span>via</span></em> Fenton-like reactions, especially when ascorbate anion exists in the environment as a reducing agent. Finally, the oxidation reaction of L-leucine by HO● demonstrated a relatively high overall apparent reaction rate – </span><em><span>koverall</span></em><span><span> being 1.18 × 109 M-1s-1,</span><span> </span><span>in which</span><span> </span><span>formal hydrogen transfer (FHT) reactions of the dipole-salt form occur as the primary mechanism. Consequently, the Leu oxidation by HO● radical can be promoted by the Fenton-reaction enhancement of its transition metal complexes.</span></span></span></p>
