Model made in Zbrush and textures added in Substance Painter. This type of iron would have been in use in the 1890s - for ironing clothes. The iron slug was heated on a fire or on a kitchen range before being placed into the cavity in the iron - the trap door slides upwards and can then be closed again afterwards.
