Tropical to warm temperate waters from ¢.50° N to ¢.40° S in the Indian, Pacific, and Atlantic oceans, as well as many adjacent seas including the Gulf of California, Sea ofJapan, Bohai, Yellow, and East China seas, and the Mediterranean Sea. Vagrant to the Red Sea and Persian Gulf. in Delphinidae
