WRF-Chem output- concentrations for the two simulations: Business as Usual and COVID for the two periods, March-April and May

The WRF-Chem model was utilized to calculate the changes in O3 chemistry during the COVID lockdown period. We ran two simulations: (1) Business As Usual (BAU) and (2) COVID for the lockdown (30 March to 12 April 2020) and relaxation (18- 25 to 30 May 2020) periods.

Here, we provide modelled concentrations for several chemical and physical species for 30 March to 12 April (only weekdays) and 18 to 30 May (only weekdays) for both simulations, BAU and COVID, over the AMB area during the morning (6-8 UTC), afternoon (13-15 UTC) and evening (19-21 UTC) hours.

We also provide the WRF-Chem output used to create the air parcel trajectories and the ozone concentrations from the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona to the Pyrenees.

Monthly maximum air temperature in April (6 year mean) for the central Arizona-Phoenix area, 2000-2005
The dataset is part of the effort to provide the most detailed climate data for CAPLTER and related projects. This dataset represents average monthly maximum/minimun air temperature derived from spatial interpolation of daily temperature data from a dense network of meteorological sensors for the period of 6 years (2000-2005).
Water level measurements on a southern Hog Island marsh, April-July 2014
Water level recorded in a backbarrier marsh on Hog Island concurrent to marsh burial experiment. HOBO Water level loggers (Model U20L-004) were placed just outside the plot at the two experimental sites in the high marsh and low marsh to record water level every 15 minutes. The loggers were suspended from steel wire at a constant elevation inside slotted PVC wells that allow water to flow through without allowing sediment infilling. Pressure measurements were then converted to water level using concurrently measured barometric data from Phillips Creek Marsh (accessible through data set: VCR12201).

Raw data of OpenAg community forum discussions - From April, 2016 to September 2019

This is the database obtained from a scraping process on the former OpenAg forum. The forum was closed in late April following the shutdown of the project by MIT given some ethical concerns. The community, however, was very active and important information was created

There are two files: all_raw and users_description.

for ALL_RAW.CSV:

It has the following columns: topic_creator, author_name, text, mentions, time_1, time_2, title

topic creator: user who created a topic on the community

author name: user who replied a post topic on the community

text: the comment itself

mentions: if the comment mentions a specific user

time_1: I am not sure of the reason but probably because of some updates on the topic or on the forum there are two timestamps (in some cases). If that's the case, time_2 should be replaced by time_1. It refers to the moment a topic or comment were made.

time_2: the moment a topic or comment were made. (check if there is a time_1)

title: The name of the topic including the category it belongs to.

FOR USERS_DESCRIPTION.CSV

It has only the description of the users. The usernames were removed.

Top 100-Ranked Clinical Journals' Preprint Policies as of April 23, 2020

Objective: To determine the top 100-ranked (by impact factor) clinical journals' policies toward publishing research previously published on preprint servers (preprints).

Design: Cross sectional. Main outcome measures: Editorial guidelines toward preprints, journal rank by impact factor.

Results: 86 (86%) of the journals examined will consider papers previously published as preprints (preprints), 13 (13%) determine their decision on a case-by-case basis, and 1 (1%) does not allow preprints.

Conclusions: We found wide acceptance of publishing preprints in the clinical research community, although researchers may still face uncertainty that their preprints will be accepted by all of their target journals.

Data from: "Characterization of two Iberian freshwater fish transcriptomes, Squalius carolitertii and Squalius torgalensis, living in distinct environmental conditions" in Genomic Resources Notes Accepted 1 April 2015 to 31 May 2015
The advance of NGS technologies opened exciting research avenues, as for example expanding the study of the mechanisms underlying adaptation from model organisms to natural systems. We used NGS technologies to sequence 12 RNA-seq libraries, and provide the first transcriptomes of two endemic Iberian Cyprinids. The species Squalius carolitertii and S. torgalensis inhabit different regions of Portugal with distinct climate types, Atlantic in the North and Mediterranean in the South, respectively. While northern regions present mild temperatures, in southern regions fish are often under harsh temperatures and droughts. Herein, we sequenced the transcriptome from three tissues (skeletal muscle, liver and fins) in an Illumina HiSeq2000 of fish exposed to different temperatures: 18ºC (control) and 30ºC (test). Around 200 million raw reads were generated for each species, with similar number of reads per library (approximately 30 million), rendering de novo assemblies with a total of 145975 and 137303 contigs, for S. carolitertii and S. torgalensis, respectively. Gene ontology showed that around 60% of the annotated genes belonged to four biological processes and approximately 75% to two molecular functions. Besides, this study provides, for the first time, the transcriptome characterization of two endemic fish from Iberian freshwater basins, S. carolitertii and S. torgalensis, and constitutes a valuable resource for understanding environmental adaptations of Iberian Cyprinids.
