Individual specimen scores based on log-transformed values of 11 cranial measurements, projected onto the first and second principal components extracted from analysis of young specimens (age class 2, n = 167) of A. spegazzinii as here understood. Some of the specimens labelled as Akodon spegazzinii and Akodon tucumanensis were collected at the type locality of each form. Meanwhile, those labelled as Akodon alterus and Akodon leucolimnaeus were all collected at the type locality of each form. Results of principal components analysis in table 7.
