Subspecies and Distribution. R. r. rouxii Temminck, 1835 — W, E & S India (Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and West Bengal) and S Myanmar; possibly also in S China (Yunnan). R. r. rubidus Kelaart, 1850 - Sri Lanka. in Rhinolophidae
