<p>Dataset of the continuum simulations generated and used within the paper "<span>Modeling of Magnesium Intercalation into Chevrel Phase Mo</span><span>6</span><span>S</span><span>8</span><span>: Report on improved&nbsp;cell design</span>", published in <span>Batteries &amp; Supercaps</span><br>&nbsp;(<span>2023</span><span>, </span><span>6 (5)</span><span>, e202200562</span>, DOI: <span>10.1002/batt.202200562</span>).</p> <p><span>A good understanding of the limiting processes in rechargeable magnesium batteries is key to develop novel highcapacity/high-voltage cathode materials. Thereby, the performance of magnesiumion batteries can strongly depend on the morphology of the intercalation cathode. Moreover, high mass loadings are essential for commercialization. In this work the influence of different mass loadings are studied in addition to the impact of the particle size distribution of the active material. Therefore, a detailed continuum model is developed, which is able to describe the complex intercalation of magnesium into a Chevrel phase (CP)&nbsp;cathode. The model considers the thermodynamics, kinetics and interplay of the two energetically different intercalation sites of Mo</span><span>6</span><span>S</span><span>8</span><span>, which results from its unique crystal structure, as well as the impact of the desolvation on the electrochemical reactions and possible ion agglomeration. Ideal combinations of mass loading and electrolyte concentration as well&nbsp;as the desired CP particle size are determined for the state-of-the-art magnesium tetrakis(hexafluoroisopropyloxy)borate Mg[B(hfip)</span><span>4</span><span>]</span><span>2 </span><span>electrolyte.</span>&nbsp;</p>

Data from: Tracing the origin of Oriental beech stands across Western Europe and reporting hybridization with European beech – implications for assisted gene flow

<p>The benefits and risks of human-aided translocation of individuals within the species range, assisted gene flow (AGF), depend on the genetic divergence, on the rate and direction of hybridization, and on the climate transfer distance between the host and donor populations. In this study, we explored the use of Oriental beech (<em>Fagus</em> <em>sylvatica</em> subsp. <em>orientalis</em>), growing from Iran to the Balkans, for AGF into European beech populations (<em>F</em>. <em>sylvatica</em> subsp. <em>Sylvatica</em>) that increasingly suffer from climate warming. Using samples from natural populations of Oriental and European beech and microsatellite loci, we identified 5 distinct genetic clusters in Oriental beech with a divergence (FST) of 0.15 to 0.25 from European beech. Using this knowledge, we traced the origin of 11 Oriental beech stands in Western Europe established during the 20<sup>th</sup> century. In two stands of Greater Caucasus origin, we found evidence for extensive hybridization, with 18% and 41% of the seedlings having hybrid status. Climate data revealed higher seasonality with warmer and drier summers across the native Oriental beech sites in comparison to the planting sites in Western Europe. Accordingly, we found that bud burst of Oriental beech occurred four days earlier than in European beech. Overall, our results suggest that AGF of Oriental beech could increase the genetic diversity of European beech stands and may foster introgression of variants adapted to expected future climatic conditions. Our study showcases the evaluation of the benefits and risks of AGF and call for similar studies on other native tree species.</p>

Predicted and reported column densities for the data set used in the characterization of the Orion Kleinmann-Low nebula

<p>This dataset contains 172 molecular entries in the chemical inventory of the Orion Kleinmann-Low (Orion KL) used in as the data set used in the work that is currently under review:</p> <p>Scolati et al., &quot;Explaining the Chemical Inventory of Orion KL through Machine Learning&quot;, (2023).</p> <p>The dataset was compiled using Herschel spectral line survey as well as ground observations using the IRAM 30 m telescope. The resulting list of molecules were used in the XCLASS fitting program described in <a href="https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/0004-637X/787/2/112">Crockett et al. (2014)</a>. The full dataset contains 64 unique molecules, including 18 isotoplogues, 9 deuterated, 8 vibrationally excited, and 9 molecules with multiple velocity components.<br> <br> The dataset is structured to provide each molecular entry with their corresponding SMILES string based representation, the beam size, rotational temperature, radial velocity, line width, as well as numerical codes to indicate physical environment within the source (i.e. hot core, compact ridge, etc.), and if the species is vibrationally excited or an isotopologue. The derived column densities reported in <a href="https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/0004-637X/787/2/112">Crockett et al. (2014) </a>are provided along with our machine learning model predictions (using the Gradient Boosting Regressor). Finally, a training vs testing tag was added to indicate which entries were split into the training and testing sets.</p>

Reference data for Quartet DSeQC Report

<p>This Quartet quality control pipeline evaluate the performance of reads quality and variant calling quality. This pipeline accepts FASTQ format input files or VCF format input files. If the users input FASTQ files, this APP will output the results of pre-alignment quality control from FASTQ files, post-alignment quality control from BAM files and variant calling quality control from VCF files.&nbsp;<a href="https://gatk.broadinstitute.org/hc/en-us/articles/360035535932-Germline-short-variant-discovery-SNPs-Indels-">GATK best practice pipelines</a>&nbsp;(implemented by&nbsp;<a href="https://support.sentieon.com/manual/">SENTIEON software</a>) were used to map reads to the reference genome and call variants.
