<p>This dataset contains simulated 10,368 Long-Film images and vertebrae centroid labels from projection of public CT images. The CT images are from SpineWeb [1] and The Cancer Imaging Archive [2]. Investigation of adhesion layers for the deposition of magnetostrictive CoxFe(1-x) films on ScyAl(1-y)N films for magnetoelectric MEMS sensors
<p>For magnetoelectric film stacks, Co/Fe multilayers are deposited on piezoelectric (Sc)AlN films on Si/SiO2 substrates and subsequently annealed by rapid thermal annealing (RTA) to create a Co-Fe alloy phase. In this study, the influence of an optional adhesion layer of 5 nm Cr or Zr on the phase transformation and interlayer properties was investigated. The dataset provided contains logfiles from the RTA process, raw data of X-ray diffraction (XRD), enery dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) measurements and scanning electron microscope (SEM) images of focused ion beam (FIB) prepared cross-sections. </p> <p> </p> <p>Results published in:</p> <p>H. Advanced Materials - Epitaxial Growth of Large-Scale 2D CrTe2 Films on Amorphous Silicon Wafers With Low Thermal Budget
<p>2D van der Waals (vdW) magnets open landmark horizons in the development of innovative spintronic device architectures. However, their fabrication with large scale poses challenges due to high synthesis temperatures (>500 °C) and difficulties in integrating them with standard complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology on amorphous substrates such as silicon oxide (SiO<sub>2</sub>) and silicon nitride (SiN<em><sub>x</sub></em>). Here, a seeded growth technique for crystallizing CrTe<sub>2</sub> films on amorphous SiN<em><sub>x</sub></em>/Si and SiO<sub>2</sub>/Si substrates with a low thermal budget is presented. This fabrication process optimizes large-scale, granular atomic layers on amorphous substrates, yielding a substantial coercivity of 11.5 kilo-oersted, attributed to weak intergranular exchange coupling. Field-driven Néel-type stripe domain dynamics explain the amplified coercivity. Moreover, the granular CrTe<sub>2</sub> devices on Si wafers display significantly enhanced magnetoresistance, more than doubling that of single-crystalline counterparts. Current-assisted magnetization switching, enabled by a substantial spin–orbit torque with a large spin Hall angle (85) and spin Hall conductivity (1.02 ×  10<sup>7</sup> ℏ/2e  Ω⁻¹  m⁻¹), is also demonstrated. These observations underscore the proficiency in manipulating crystallinity within integrated 2D magnetic films on Si wafers, paving the way for large-scale batch manufacturing of practical magnetoelectronic and spintronic devices, heralding a new era of technological innovation.</p>

Dataset with segmentations of 75 stained cell images over P3HBV polymer films
<div> <p>We segmented 75 images of stained cells, divided in 5 folders according the thickness of the <strong>Poly-3-hydroxyvalerate</strong> films.</p> <p>P3HBV polymer films of different thicknesses were prepared by casting solution technique.</p> <p>For this, P3HBV was dissolved in chloroform to obtain homogeneous solutions with concentration of <strong>1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0%</strong>. The films were dried at room temperature for 48 hours in a dust-free environment, allowing the chloroform to evaporate completely and resulting in solid films. Upper surfaces of the films were used for cell cultivation.</p> <p>Linear culture of mice fibroblasts NIH 3T3 was used to obtain the visual data of cell adhesion on P3HBV film samples. To assess the cytocompatibility of PHA samples, cells were seeded onto sterile polymer films samples at a density of 2 × 104𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑠/𝑐𝑚2 and cultured for 72 hours. After the incubation, the samples were washed with phosphate-buffered saline and cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde solution.</p> <p>Cell membranes were permeabilized with 0.2% Triton-X, and the cytoplasm was stained with fluorescein isothiocyanate, FITC (green) (Sigma-Aldrich, USA), for 1 hour in the dark at room temperature. The nuclei were visualized using 4’,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole, DAPI (blue) (Sigma-Aldrich, USA).</p> <p>Cells were visualized using a Leica DMI8 fluorescent microscope with corresponding LAS X software.</p> <p>Per each sample, we include: A raw image (.tif) with 2 subfolders containing the segmented masks of their cells and nuclei respectively.</p> </div>

Gnuplot scripts are `.plt' files, python scripts are `.py' files.<br>Executing the codes:<br> To execute the gnuplot scripts, start gnuplot and load the script, for example via `load "Fig3ab.plt"'. For the python scripts, use the command `python "Fig3cdef.py"' or `python3 "Fig3cdef.py"' from the terminal.
