Ballachraggan - reported cup & ring marks
This was recorded on the Northern Antiquarian website on their visit to the Ballachraggan chambered cairn near Callander. It is on a small platform of rock about 150m NE of the cairn on the side of a prominent knoll - ''two large cup-markings, with the more easterly one of the two seeming to have a carved arc along its edge.'' This was visited and recorded on 14/1/19 and appears to be natural. The local conglomerate rock contains rounded pebbles which weather out of the rock matrix leaving cup-like depressions. There are many examples of these natural 'cup marks' on rocks and on the numerous conglomerate boulders in this area OS REFERENCE NN 68174 06583 Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Singapore Coffee Cup Polycam AI Photos
Testing out PolycamAI on iphone12max using the photos option. NOT carefully lit, cup is quite shiney. Total of 186 photos. Went around standing up cup twice different heights. Tipped the cup over to get bottom and inside. Outside looks quite reasonable there is a texture on the cup. Inside all messed up very bumpy, but that was photographed less. Seperation of cup from other objects and background quite good. Export from polycam as .glb file. (note: funny thing assumed interior was smooth but upon looking again at cup interior does have quite a few bumps..not like in scan but not smooth either) Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Peace Stone - Cup & Ring Marked Stone
This stone is located near Malling Farm at the Western side of the Lake of Menteith. It Has 22 cup marks around which are a network of incomplete rings, curved lines & grooves. When it was first photographed and sketched recorded at the end of the 19th century these unique markings were much more visible. Unfortunately the stone has been much abused since then, having been moved, damaged and much eroded to the point where the complex patterns are virtually indiscenable in the field. Today the stone lies neglected amongst other field clearance boulders within a bracken infested strip enclosed by an old wall and a modern high stock/deer proof fence. Fortunately 3D modelling can still reveal some degree of the former intricate surface decoration. Scotland's Rock Art Project (ScRAP Ref. 362) Canmore Ref. 44622 This stone was recorded and 3D modelled by Nick Parish of the Callander Group for Scotland's Rock Art Project. Nether Glenny 5 - Cup Marked/Natural Rock
A panel reported in DES 2018 and labelled Nether Glenny 5 and allocated the label of Nether Glenny 33 in the ScRAP record. The markings are very faint and, whilst resembling an array of cup marks, the rock is very similar to others nearby which have numerous very shallow cup-like natural markings. A difficult one to call but I would lean strongly towards natural. Recorded & modelled for Scotland's Rock Art Project by Nick Parish. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Stratford Midlands Yellow Shakespeares Cup
An example of a midlands yellowware ceramic from a small drinking vessel. This type of vessel was poorly represented in the ceramic assemblage, but is one William Shakespeare is most likely to have known. This dates from the last quarter of the sixteenth century at the period of Shakespeare's occupation of New Place. It was likely to have been produced in Wednesbury, Staffordshire or Ticknall, Derbyshire. More information at: www.searchingforshakespeare.co.uk Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab
Tregiffian - cup mark under capstone
Underneath the repaired capstone of Tregiffian burial chamber in West Penwith, Cornwall, UK, is a large cup mark. It is possible that this was at one point an attempt to drill a hole through the stone, as it matches a cup mark of similar size directly above. It is about 25cm in diameter. This cup mark is bisected by a repaired split in the stone, and again by a steel supporting girder inserted after the Tregiffian excavation (and reconstruction) in 1968. Note that this cup mark was scanned in a very confined space, on the 'ceiling' of the tomb. The spider on the model shows something of the conditions at the time of scanning! A hanging spider nest was left undisturbed and had to be removed from the model. Over Glenny 9 - Cup & Ring Marked Rock
Over Glenny 9 (NN 37032 02897) is in the Menteith Hills north of the Lake of Menteith and is one of the many rock panels in this small area. I was struck by its similarity to the Blarnaboard 1 outcrop on the same sandstone rock formation, the Ruchill Flagstone but some 8km away near Gartmore. This is not a particularly good model & I intend to return to do make a better job of things. Although the cup marks can be shown clearly, the model does not bring out the rings around them at all well. The central group has quite an intricate arrangement of rings withon it and above the 4 to the right are another 3 cup marks that are enclosed within a single, rather distorted, ring which I neglected uncover - it was just a quick evening recce! Tombuie House 1 - Cup Marked Rock
An outcrop near Kenmore, Perthshire. About 24 cup marks were identified upon it, grouped within four separate areas, although some of these were indistinct and may be natural. Most noticable is a line of seven cups at the NE end of the rock and a line of four cups further to the SW.
