<p>This data archive accompanies the article "Online measurements during simulated atmospheric aging track the strongly increasing oxidative potential of complex combustion aerosols relative to their primary emissions", which was accepted in November 2024 in the peer-reviewed journal Environmental Science and Technology Letters. The data archive contains the processed OP_DTT, PM loading, oxidant level, and elemental ratio measurements presented in this journal article. </p>

<p>Reduced neutron reflectometry (NR) data associated with the study "The evolution of surface structure during atmospheric ageing of nano-scale coatings of an organic surfactant aerosol proxy" by Milsom et al.. One folder contains the raw data for fitted parameters obtained from NR curves and supporting figure 3 in the study. The other contains a set of sub-folders which have reduced NR data along with python scripts which were used to create and fit the interfacial model to the data. Fitting bounds for each parameter are found in these scripts. </p>

<p>This dataset provides output fields that were used in the research article titled "Pre-industrial, present and future atmospheric soluble iron deposition and the role of aerosol acidity and oxalate under CMIP6 emissions." The data includes the following fields presented as yearly means:</p> <ul> <li>Soluble Iron emissions (SFe_emi) in Tg/yr</li> <li>Total Iron emissions (TFe_emi) in Tg/yr</li> <li>Soluble Iron deposition (SFe_dep) (both wet and dry) in Tg/yr</li> <li>Total Iron deposition (TFe_dep) (both wet and dry) in Tg/yr</li> </ul> <p>The data covers the following periods:</p> <ul> <li>Pre-industrial period (PI), with the year 1850</li> <li>Present-day period (PD), with the climatology from 1985 to 2014</li> <li>Three future periods based on the SSP CMIP6 scenarios (SSP126, SSP245, SSP370), with the climatology from 2070 to 2099</li> </ul> <p>An additional file containing information on the cell areas of the output grid is also included (areacell_BergasMassoetal2023.nc).</p>
