This canal pattern is identical to that shown in the specimen described as Carybdea marsupialis by Kazmi & Sultana (2008) in Pakistan waters, both now identified as Alatina grandis (Agassiz & Mayer, 1902) (Straehler-Pohl & Gul 2017).
