Unveiling the role of miRNAs from MSC-EVs in neuroinflammation and behavioral impairments induced by chronic alcohol consumption
<p><strong>Part of the project: "Unveiling the role of miRNAs from MSC-EVs in neuroinflammation and behavioral impairments induced by chronic alcohol consumption."</strong></p> <p>This dataset contains small RNA sequencing data derived from extracellular vesicles (EVs) isolated from human adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSC-EVs). The data was generated to study the potential therapeutic effects of repeated intravenous administration of MSC-EVs on neuroinflammation, cognitive dysfunction, and addictive-like behaviors induced by chronic alcohol consumption.</p> <p>Total RNA from MSC-EVs was extracted using the Total Exosome RNA Isolation Kit (Invitrogen). Small RNA libraries were constructed with the Small RNA-Seq Library Prep Kit (Lexogen) and sequenced on the Illumina NextSeq 550 platform with a 1 x 150 bp read length. The raw sequencing data are provided in fastq format.</p> <p> </p> <div> </div>
EV based miR-6772-5p secreted by breast cancer cells in response to radiation exposure is involved in development of radioresistance
<p>This dataset serves as a supplementary material for the research article <em>EV-based miR-6772-5p secreted by breast cancer cells in response to radiation exposure is involved in development of radioresistance</em> by Tynjälä <em>et al</em>. For further details, please refer to our publication for a detailed description of the methods used to generate this dataset.</p> <p>In summary, we isolated and sequenced miRNAs from extracellular vesicles (EVs) isolated from irradiated and non-irradiated MCF7 cells. Sequencing libraries were prepared with QIAseq miRNA Library Kit (Qiagen, Germany) and sequenced with Illumina NextSeq 500 platform (Illumina). In-house bioinformatics workflow was used to process the sequencing data. Unique molecular identifier (UMI) sequences were first extracted and added to FASTQ header with UMI-tools while discarding the 3’ adapter and primer sequences. Reads shorter than 16 bp were discarded with cutadapt. Provided sequencing data is in FASTQ format and trimmed from adapter and UMI sequences. We have also provided miRNA counts and results of following differential gene expression analysis in tab-delimited format.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

<p>The files include supplementary results for background analyses performed for the manuscript "Testing the goodness of the EVS gender role attitudes scale" submitted to the journal <em>Bulletin of Sociological Methodology/Bulletin de Méthodologie Sociologique</em>. One file reports the result from exploratory factor analyses run on the EVS 2008 scale with 7 and 8 items; the other one shows intermediate results from the stepwise regression models performed on the same scale from EVS 2008 and EVS 1999.</p> <p>Lomazzi, V. A Dataset for EV movement and charging based on metropolitan Melbourne
<p> This document presents a dataset based on which electric vehicle (EV) movement and charging may be simulated. Data is collected from various sources describing the metropolitan Melbourne area and comprises: A list of EVs, suburb locations and dwelling statistics, residential consumption patterns considering deviations based on suburb and household size, statistics regarding work behaviour including commute patterns, pricing for various electricity products as well as statistical data to derive rooftop photo voltaic (PV) generation. Furthermore, methodologies are provided to create rudimentary probability distributions describing forecasts for residential electricity consumption and rooftop PV generation based on historic data. Lastly, a methodology for basic shift scheduling is presented, allowing to create basic travel patterns for EVs commuting between their residences and places of employment.</p>
