<p>Planimetrie di fase dell&rsquo;area di scavo di Monte Abatone-Cerveteri, anni 2018-2019. Nel complesso il dataset comprende il rilievo generale dell&#39;area archeologica su cartografia catastale e Carta Tecnica Regione Lazio 1:5000. Le piante di fase sono state ottenute mediante rielaborazioni di rilievi CAD eseguiti dal dr. C. Rizzo e dagli studenti dell&rsquo;Universit&agrave; degli Studi della Campania &ldquo;L. Vanvitelli&rdquo; e digitalizzazione delle ortofoto eseguite nel 2020 dal dr. Luca Lucchetti dell&rsquo;Universit&agrave; degli Studi della Tuscia. Per l&#39;elaborazione e gestione dei dati &egrave; stata utilizzata la versione student di AutoCAD 2020 e utilizzata una piattaforma GIS open souce, QGIS.</p> <p>Nel dataset &egrave; presente, in formato pdf, la restituzione in formato vettoriale della planimetria redatta dalla Fondazione Lerici alla fine delle campagne 1957-1962 con la caratterizzazione architettonica degli interni delle camere sepolcrali rielaborate dagli schizzi misurati di E. Zapicchi.</p>

Ricostruzione digitale della necropoli fenicia e punica nord-occidentale di Nora

<p>Ricostruzione digitale della necropoli fenicia e punica nord-occidentale di Nora (Pula, CA), spazio funerario della citt&agrave; antica sfruttato sin dalla prima fase di frequentazione fenicia (VIII sec. a.C.) e per tutta l&#39;et&agrave; punica (fine VI-III sec. a.C.). Il dataset, funzionale alla valorizzazione delle strutture conservate on site e offsite mediante una webapp, &egrave; stato realizzato da Katatexilux modellando il monumento con il software Blender; il modello &egrave; stato infine texturizzato e renderizzato con Autodesk 3ds Max. La ricostruzione ha preso le mosse dai rilievi digitali dell&#39;area, degli elementi di corredo rinvenuti e rilevati sul campo e in laboratorio, dalla planimetria ricostruttiva e dai dati di scavo acquisiti ed elaborati dall&#39;Universit&agrave; di Padova. Il processo ricostruttivo &egrave; stato validato mappando le fonti interpretative su immagini 2D equirettangolari della ricostruzione virtuale, definendo campiture cromatiche corrispondenti ai livelli di affidabilit&agrave; e alle relative fonti. Funzionali alla realizzazione della webapp, sono state prodotte delle maschere semantiche di sintesi relative ai principali elementi ricostruiti e visibili nelle viste equirettangolari prodotte, cos&igrave; come sono state realizzate delle maschere funzionali allo storytelling della ricostruzione.</p>

Tombstone stećak from necropolis Zgošća near Kakanj, Bosnia. A stećak weighing about 14 tons. It is decorated on all four sides with architectural, figural, vegetative and geometric motifs. It is considered to be the most beautiful monument of the Middle Ages of Bosnia and the region. Data were collected as part of a joint research project between GDH and the Association for the Digitization and Informatisation of Cultural Heritage (DIGI.BA) in Sarajevo, in full collaboration with the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo. For example, this image shows a Sus scrofa mandible, a fragment of a Bos taurus radius and three phalanges from the same leg of a caprine. Most of the cattle and pig remains did not present thermo-alterations.

Beit She'arim Necropolis of rock-cut tombs

The partially excavated archaeological site consists mainly of an extensive necropolis of rock-cut tombs and some remains of the town itself. The site is managed by the National Parks Authority. It borders the town of Kiryat Tiv'on on the northeast and is located five kilometres west of the moshav named after the historical location in 1926, a decade prior to its archaeological identification.[3] It is situated 20 km east of Haifa in the southern foothills of the Lower Galilee.
