Atomic Force Microscopy Images of Various Specimens

<p>This data set consists of ten atomic force microscopy images in MI format as well as corresponding previews in PNG format.</p> <p>The microscopy images are of various materials and have been scanned with AFM equipment from Keysight Technologies. Details on the individual images:</p> <ul> <li>image_7.mi - calibration grid with 5 &micro;m pitch size</li> <li>image_8.mi - Celgard (a polymer membrane used in batteries)</li> <li>image_9.mi - Titanium-Tungsten film</li> <li>image_10.mi - AFM image</li> <li>image_11.mi - self-assembled monolayer of lipids on gold</li> <li>image_12.mi - capacity calibration sample for Scanning Microwave Microscopy imaging</li> <li>image_13.mi - capacity calibration sample for Scanning Microwave Microscopy imaging</li> <li>image_14.mi - PS-LDPE-12M (a polymer blend of Polystyrene and Polyolefin Elastomere)</li> <li>image_15.mi - AFM Calibration grid</li> <li>image_16.mi - AFM Calibration grid</li> </ul> <p>The images can be opened using, e.g. Gwyddion: http://gwyddion.net/<br /> The Python package Magni can be used to load the images into Python (using the magni.afm.io module): https://github.com/SIP-AAU/Magni</p> <p>The images are provided as-is without warranty of any kind.</p>

Experimental load-displacement response of a stainless steel specimen under cyclic loading

<p>Experimental load-displacement data was obtained by testing a autenitic stainless steel RHS member under cyclic bending around its major axis following a cantilever loading scheme. The database is comprised of the horizontal displacement measured by a string potentiometer attached at the free end of the specimen and the horizontal force introduced by the actuator.&nbsp;</p> <p>The data corresponds to the specimen named S1-L1, which was an austenitic stainless steel RHS specimen, with a cross-section S1 (120 &times; 80 &times; 6 mm) and an effective length of L1 = 1650 mm.&nbsp;</p> <p>The full details of the experimental test can be found in: Gonz&aacute;lez-de-Le&oacute;n I., Nastri E., Arrayago I., Montuori R., Piluso V., Real E. Improving the accuracy of automated labeling of specimen images datasets via a confidence-based process - Datasets

<p>This dataset contains supporting data for a research project aimed at analysing herbarium samples from the New England area at a large scale with deep learning techniques. A benchmark dataset of herbarium specimen images with label data: Summary

<p>This landing page contains a CSV file compiling all data associated with herbarium specimens that are part of this dataset, as they could be found on GBIF, JACQ or FinBIF. A CSV file with and without Darwin Core extension data is available, as some CSV readers have trouble with the JSON format that is used for those extensions.</p> <p>In addition, DOI&#39;s of the individual specimens uploaded to Zenodo and direct links to the different files (JPEG, TIFF, JSON, PNG) are also included. Index of these added&nbsp;variables:</p> <p>- persistentID: Persistent Identifier of the collection specimen. Data uploaded as part of this dataset will not be kept in sync with changes at the collection&#39;s repository. Hence, this URI will always point to the most up to date information known about the herbarium specimen.</p> <p>- jpegURL, tiffURL, jsonURL: URL&#39;s pointing straight to the respective image and data files themselves, to facilitate (selective) batch downloads.</p> <p>- pngSegAllURL and pngSegSelURL: Segmented overlays of the herbarium specimens indicating the location of different labels and reference material on the sheet (&quot;All&quot;) and their content (&quot;Sel&quot;). More information can be found in the paper (in prep) associated with this data publication and the individual depositions themselves.</p> <p>- DOI: The DOI of the deposition of images and data of these specimens on Zenodo. DOI&#39;s point to the most up-to-date version of these depositions at the time of the publication of this CSV file.
