Lecturer Performance: The Influence of Transformational Leadership Style, Work Environment, Compensation, and Institutional Transformation

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of transformational leadership style, work environment, compensation, and institutional transformation on the performance of lecturers at the Mandala Institute of Technology and Science. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis that describes a certain characteristic or feature of a phenomenon that occurs and makes conclusions or generalizations about the population based on sample data. The sample used was 48 lecturers at the Mandala Institute of Technology and Science. The results of the study indicate that compensation affects lecturer performance, while transformational leadership style, work environment, and institutional transformation do not affect lecturer performance. The implications of this study indicate that increasing compensation can significantly improve lecturer performance at the Mandala Institute of Technology and Science, so it is important for institutions to focus on fairer and more adequate compensation policies. Conversely, improvements in transformational leadership style, work environment, and institutional transformation need to be adjusted to the specific context and needs of lecturers in order to have a more significant impact on performance.

Compiled eruption chronostratigraphy including eruption styles for Santorini volcano, Greece, from ~360 ka to present day

This dataset is a compiled chronostratigraphy for the volcanic island of Santorini, Greece. It comprises information on eruption dates, dating methods and numbers of eruptions of each type (Plinian, interplinian and lava), compiled from existing published sources (all references provided) and some supplementary fieldwork. The record is detailed and quantitative from the present day back to 224 ka, and less detailed and qualitative from 224 ka back to ~360 ka. Two maps are provided to give location context for the dataset, as well as a reference list, and other associated reading. This dataset forms part of the supplementary information for the publication 'Eruptive Activity of the Santorini Volcano Controlled by Sea Level Rise and Fall' by Satow et al. (2021) in Nature Geoscience- https://doi.org/10.1038/s41561-021-00783-4

Synchrotron radiation X-ray tomographic microscopy SRXTM images of "Tricarpellate flower sp. 2"; Catefica locality, Portugal. a) Lateral view of floral structure (volume rendering) showing the apical projection of the carpels and the semiinferior organization; b) Apical view of floral structure (volume rendering) showing the triangular shape of the hypanthial rim, the tricarpellate ovary with a single apical style; note that one locule is fully developed while the other two are collapsed; note also slits of unknown nature in the corners of the triangular hypanthial rim (arrows); c) Transverse section (orthoslice xy0712) close to the floral apex showing the locule of the one fully developed carpel with ovules borne along ventral placentae; note amorphous substance (asterisk) associated with the developing ovules that fills part of the locule space; d) Longitudinal section (orthoslice xz0858) through the locule of the one fully developed carpel showing the semi-inferior organization and ovules arranged along the full length of the carpel; note amorphous substance (asterisk) associated with the developing ovules that fills part of the locule space; e) Tangential longitudinal section (orthoslice yz1019) through the one fully developed locule, showing the densely packed ovules and the amorphous substance (asterisk) with which they are associated. Specimen, Catefica 50-S174901 (a–e). Scale bars = 300 Μm (a–e).

Groove2Groove MIDI Dataset: synthetic accompaniments in 3k styles

The Groove2Groove MIDI Dataset is a parallel corpus of synthetic MIDI accompaniments in almost 3000 different styles, created as described in the paper Groove2Groove: One-Shot Accompaniment Style Transfer with Supervision from Synthetic Data [pdf]. See the
README.md
file or the Groove2Groove website for more information.

The dataset is split into the following sections:

train
contains 5744 MIDI files in 2872 styles (exactly 2 files per style). Each file contains 252 measures following a 2 measure count-in.

val
and
test
each contain 1200 files in 40 styles (exactly 30 files per style, 16 bars per file after the count-in). The sets of styles are disjoint from each other and from those in
train
.

itest
is generated from the same chord charts as
test
, but in 40 styles from the training set.

Chord charts for all MIDI files are provided in the ABC format and the Band-in-a-Box (MGU) format. Each chord chart corresponds to at least 2 MIDI files in different styles.

The code used to automate Band-in-a-Box is available in the pybiab package.

If you use the data in your research, please reference the paper (not just the Zenodo record):

@article{groove2groove, author={Ond\v{r}ej C\'{i}fka and Umut \c{S}im\c{s}ekli and Ga\"{e}l Richard}, title={{Groove2Groove}: One-Shot Music Style Transfer with Supervision from Synthetic Data}, journal={IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing}, publisher={IEEE}, year={2020}, volume={28}, pages={2638--2650}, doi={10.1109/TASLP.2020.3019642}, url={https://doi.org/10.1109/TASLP.2020.3019642} }
