Data from: Research and exploratory analysis driven - time-data visualization (read-tv) software
<strong><em>read-tv</em></strong> <p>The main paper is about, <em>read-tv</em>, open-source software for longitudinal data visualization. We uploaded sample use case surgical flow disruption data to highlight <em>read-tv</em>'s capabilities. We scrubbed the data of protected health information, and uploaded it as a single CSV file. A description of the original data is described below.</p> Data source <p>Surgical workflow disruptions, defined as "<i>deviations from the natural progression of an operation thereby potentially compromising the efficiency or safety of care", </i>provide a window on the systems of work through which it is possible to analyze <u>mismatches between the work demands and the ability of the people to deliver the work</u>. They have been shown to be sensitive to different intraoperative technologies, surgical errors, surgical experience, room layout, checklist implementation and the effectiveness of the supporting team. The significance of flow disruptions lies in their ability to provide a hitherto unavailable perspective on the quality and efficiency of the system. This allows for a systematic, quantitative and replicable assessment of risks in surgical systems, evaluation of interventions to address them, and assessment of the role that technology plays in exacerbation or mitigation.</p> <p>In 2014, Drs Catchpole and Anger were awarded NIBIB R03 EB017447 to investigate flow disruptions in Robotic Surgery which has resulted in the detailed, multi-level analysis of over 4,000 flow disruptions. Direct observation of 89 RAS (robitic assisted surgery) cases, found a mean of 9.62 flow disruptions per hour, which varies across different surgical phases, predominantly caused by coordination, communication, equipment, and training problems.</p>

"Neptun" tv set from the house of Szymon Kluger
Full name: **TV set from the house of Szymon Kluger in Oświęcim, Poland** Model: "Neptun C" OT 1441 Manufacturer: Gdańskie Zakłady Radiowe / Gdańsk Radio Factory (1965) A TV set from the collection of objects found in the house of Szymon Kluger (1925–2000), the last Jewish resident of Oświęcim. Szymon was one of the Jewish residents of Oświęcim who survived the Holocaust and eventually returned to their hometown. Surprisingly, he did so in the 1960s, when the last remaining Jews were on the point of leaving the town in the face of mounting antisemitism and a growing sense of isolation. **For more images and further information, visit:** https://muzea.malopolska.pl/pl/lista-obiektow/2886 Inventory number: MZM/DS/119 Localisation of the physical object: [Auschwitz Jewish Center](https://ajcf.pl/en/), Oświęcim, Poland **Digitalisation: Regional Digitalisation Lab, Małopolska Institute of Culture in Kraków, Poland; "Virtual Museums of Małopolska" project** Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Data from: 8-year trends in physical activity, nutrition, TV viewing time, smoking, alcohol and BMI: a comparison of younger and older Queensland adults
Lifestyle behaviours significantly contribute to high levels of chronic disease in older adults. The aims of the study were to compare the prevalence and the prevalence trends of health behaviours (physical activity, fruit and vegetable consumption, fast food consumption, TV viewing, smoking and alcohol consumption), BMI and a summary health behaviour indicator score in older (65+ years) versus younger adults (18-65 years). The self-report outcomes were assessed through the Queensland Social Survey annually between 2007-2014 (n=12,552). Regression analyses were conducted to compare the proportion of older versus younger adults engaging in health behaviours and of healthy weight in all years combined and examine trends in the proportion of younger and older adults engaging in health behaviours and of healthy weight over time. Older adults were more likely to meet recommended intakes of fruit and vegetable (OR=1.43, 95%CI=1.23-1.67), not consume fast food (OR=2.54, 95%CI=2.25-2.86) and be non-smokers (OR=3.02, 95%CI=2.53-3.60) in comparison to younger adults. Conversely, older adults were less likely to meet the physical activity recommendations (OR=0.86, 95%CI= 0.78-0.95) and watch less than 14 hours of TV per week (OR=0.65, 95%CI=0.58-0.74). Overall, older adults were more likely to report engaging in 3, or at least 4 out of 5 healthy behaviours. The proportion of both older and younger adults meeting the physical activity recommendations (OR=0.97, 95%CI=0.95-0.98 and OR=0.94, 95%CI=0.91-0.97 respectively), watching less than 14 hours of TV per week (OR=0.96, 95%CI=0.94-0.99 and OR=0.94, 95%CI=0.90-0.99 respectively) and who were a healthy weight (OR=0.95, 95%CI=0.92-0.99 and OR=0.96, 95%CI=0.94-0.98 respectively) decreased over time. The proportion of older adults meeting the fruit and vegetable recommendations (OR=0.90, 95%CI=0.84-0.96) and not consuming fast food (OR=0.94, 95%CI=0.88-0.99) decreased over time. Although older adults meet more health behaviours than younger adults, the decreasing prevalence of healthy nutrition behaviours in this age group needs to be addressed.

A Large TV Dataset for Speech and Music Activity Detection
<p>Automatic speech and music activity detection (SMAD) is an enabling task that can help segment, index, and pre-process audio content in radio broadcast and TV programs. However, due to copyright concerns and the cost of manual annotation, the limited availability of diverse and sizeable datasets hinders the progress of state-of-the-art (SOTA) data-driven approaches. We address this challenge by presenting a large-scale dataset containing Mel spectrogram, VGGish, and MFCCs features extracted from around 1600 hours of professionally produced audio tracks and their corresponding noisy labels indicating the approximate location of speech and music segments. The labels are derived from several sources such as subtitles. A test set curated by human annotators is also included as a subset for evaluation. To the best of our knowledge, this dataset is the first large-scale, open-sourced dataset that contains features extracted from professionally produced audio tracks and their corresponding frame-level speech and music annotations. </p>
